Genesis hadn't planned on ending up here. Wherever here was. He squinted in the midday sun and looked around. He was far from his home in Banora. He had left ShinRa. Deserted? No, that was too stronger a word. He was fed up with their ideals, the experiments. He hated the experiments and he hated Hojo. The bastard. He had ruined his life. What was he now? A man or a monster

Part of Joseph worried for Tallahassee's state of mental health, even though he knew the other meant well. Rigging enough explosives to blow Xargin up might not be enough, he believed. It might damage him, but a lot more force behind the attack would be required.
The appearance of a new face to this town that suffered made him frown. Wherever he came from, Joseph knew it was from a world he's never heard of, and his situation would be most unfortunate. Anyone who would find themselves stranded in more or less the middle of the darkest of days would be shrouded in misfortune.
What was on his back? ...Wings? Joseph had seen stranger, much stranger, but that did not stop the slight curiosity he felt towards the man.
"Directions to where," asked Tallahassee. "Back to where you came from? Sorry to say, but you're in a different world now. A real doozy of a world, and you're not the only one to have showed up lost

"Anywhere? I don't know this area at all and....I'm not sure how I got here." Genesis sighed then held his head in his hands. This was all too much. He felt so weak. He felt a dizziness descend over him as he fell to his knees. He looked up at the man and shook his head. "I don't know anyone called Naesala. My name is Genesis and I'm from Banora. I...don't know how I got here." He felt his head spin slightly as he looked up at the sky.
Perhaps the transition had caused him to black out and end up here? Was he attacked? He didn't know. Where was Sephiroth or Angeal? A Mako reactor would have been a friendly sight right now.
"Can you tell me where this place is?" He hoped the man would be cooperative. He desperately tried to hide a feather which fell from his wing. He didn't want to show the man that he was....a monster.

"Whoa, easy there fella," said Tallahassee as he rushed to the younger man's side. Joseph promptly went to his other side as they slowly got Genesis back on his feet.
Genesis? Like from the Old Testament Genesis, Tallahassee pondered to himself.
He did notice the feather that fell, and that Naesala he mentioned really did have great big bird wings like this guy did. It's why he asked if he knew the raven king, from Kilvas or Tellius, or wherever. He couldn't exactly remember where. He was only trying to help.
So when the Texan noticed the black feather float in a free fall onto the sidewalk, he didn't freak out. A part of him was glad this guy wouldn't be itching to annoy him anytime soon. Naesala sure as hell was, looking down on Tallahassee like he was nothing. Tallahassee was so close to delivering a bullet to the douchebag...
"It's as I said. You're in a different world. Don't know where the fuck this world is. Might just be very, very far away from yours. An' no one knows how they got here. There's a lot of things that don'
