I told my mom how we only have four episodes left and Arthur still doesn't know and she laughed "because he's disguised as the lowly serving boy..."
Ooh, I have this Saturday off so I might finally be able to watch. I had several Saturdays where I was able to watch Doctor Who through the BBC streams but my schedule hasn't worked out for Merlin yet.
I really wanted what shipper dragon has been promising us all along with Merlin and Arthur and their grand Camelot...
Still, I'll be glad with just about anything that's not let's kill person off with illogical alien virus situation or wipe a person's memory so they have no memory of how awesome they were...
I used to have the DVR set to record EVERY episode, new or not but then I came to the realization that I really didn't want to watch certain episodes ever, ever again.
Have you seen the most recent ep? I love this show, but I think with different writers and show runners, we could have had some AMAZING moments. I mean we have, but especially with these last few eps, I feel like we're just wasting time. Nothing is really moving the story along. Normally I wouldn't have even minded, but now we have 3 episodes left and ARGH!
I had been hoping and praying to see Albion and to have Arthur accept Merlin and appoint him court sorcerer or at least officially make him his adviser (which he is anyway).
At this point though, I just want everyone to live and be happy. And a magic reveal because DAMMIT IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS OF PROMISES ;_;
I...I can not comprehend this news. I was in the dark. I mean like...Merlin, Gwain, Arthur? Squishies! I'll miss them so. :( Wtf will I watch Saturdays now?!
If I just hung out on LJ I wouldn't have known. But Tumblr is crazy loud and damn quick with the news breaking.
But yeah. I still can't quite believe it. As many people have pointed out, we're not so much upset that it's ending, but rather HOW it's ending. There are so many loose ends that will never get resolved. But honestly at this point, I just want everyone to live and be happy. I know we'll never get Albion and Merlin as court sorcerer, but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS RIGHT IN THIS WORLD, GIVE US A MAGIC REVEAL.
It's on my list of shows to watch. I won't get to it for a while though. I just finished watching all of Downton Abbey and I want to watch The Hour but I'm going to watch some Benedict stuff before.
I am so slow with watching shows on my list so I completely understand. I do highly recommend it though and at least you know you'll be able to watch it from beginning to end. Waiting week to week is enough to drive a woman mad ;)
