Good news: I spent the day having lectures at the Roslin Institute!

Good news: The coffee there is really cheap!

Bad news: I didn't get to meet Ian Wilmut.

Grey news: My flatmate hasn't been home in two days, and I can't provide photos of hair until he gets back.

Did you talk to anyone out there? If so what were they like? I've heard such bad things about the place but don't know if any of them are justified.

The people who gave us presentations were friendly enough, and the canteen was pretty pleasant. I don't think it seemed bad at all. Perhaps some of the more senior scientists are particularly difficult to be around, but I didn't meet any of them.
