I said something to my favorite teacher that came out wrong... :(

Mrs. Robinson, reading my paper: "Oh, I didn't think of the eggs as being a part of invention!"
Me: "Really? I thought it was kind of obvious."
She just kind of forced a weak, confused smile and didn't say anything.

I felt so fucking bad, you have NO idea.

And she's my favorite person in the world, I look up to her like no one else :[[
