hospital blahblahblah again

Hi folks

This week is supposed to be my last week @ the hospital.
But even though it seems like i've been here like forever, i decided to stay a few weeks longer. I'm okay to leave the hospital, but the aftercare is a bit of a mess. I get to see my psychiatrist mid-January, which means 6 weeks w/o check-ups. And since BigBoss told me i don't have ( Read more... )

100% yes!
Aftercare is so important.
No matter how strong you get, you will need support to get you through the transitions & tough times, you know?
Good for you for making what seems to me to be a very mature and pro-active decision!

Yes, it's the right decision.

You need aftercare, and especially the fist 6 weeks after re-joining the "real world." It's just too easy to backslide when on your own.

I think you are doing absoloutly the right thing. You have been working so hard for months and it'd be a shame to make all that work go to waste by ending treatment too soon. I'm really proud of you for seeing that, a lot of people would be tempted to think that they have been in treatment for so long that they must be fine on their own.

Hey sweetie, I think you're doing the right thing, your health is important and seeing as the aftercare is so important, you don't want to ruin your hard work with a relapse just because the aftercare is messed up. *hugs*
