You can always tell people like that you have a boyfriend. They don't have to know he's imaginary. I mean, it sucks that you have to do that but sometimes it's easier.

I think the closest to a mutual flicker of interest was this one year I was heading with the crowd toward a down escalator and a cute Asian man in Army fatigues was sitting against a wall fiddling with his cell phone. Our eyes happened to meet and we smiled at one another. Oh and he wasn't a cosplayer, he was an ACTUAL soldier. I have no idea what he was doing there but I'll always remember he had a nice smile. :)

You're not alone. I haven't figured out that crap either. :P You and I are pretty much in the same boat when it comes to these sorts of things, I've noticed, lol.

You're probably doing better than me.
I have a crush on my arena partner in WoW - yeah I know what he looks like. We chat a lot. But he's got a girlfriend and he lives on the eastern coast of the U.S.
-_-;;

And I keep getting hit on by random people in transit and crack-heads. Seriously.
WTB normal geeky boyfriend, preferably single and in town, thanks.
