I got my acceptance packet for pre-engineering at U of arkansas.

If it goes wrong, I blame my reading your lj for these last couple of years!

Space Fem mom opinions are best shared around the dinner table with glass/bottle of wine. That confidentiality issue does have serious downsides.

I actually have an "unreal life" friends filter, which sounds kind of silly but it's come in handy. It mostly gets used if I'm doubting a relationship I'm in, because real life friends have more interest in that sort of thing and I really just need impartial opinions, you know? You have to keep internet words very separate from real life drama.

I've watched this for years - Space Fem and/or engineer dad do the lights. It is an engineering feat. Lay out the strings of lights all over the house and observe. Find test tool thing. Test lights. Replace bulbs - especially blinkers. Observe. Leave boxes of NEW lights unopened. Don't need them again this year, because engineers thrive on fixing all the old lights. This is a success. Keep those babies going! Wrap tree. Observe. Drink champagne. Go buy supply of replacement bulbs for next year. Wonder why mom needs other ornaments on the tree. Ah tradition! Thanks Space Fem - it's the best looking tree ever!
