It could have just been she got really into the games for a short while, then decided she needs a break. She's learning balance.

I played thru all of some stupid farm game on steam during the first part of the pandemic. Like hours a day (before we had kids). It was nice to retreat into a solitary, controllable world when the real world felt out of control. I also knitted endless pot holders. Finding something to retreat into when things are outside of your control is a totally reasonable coping mechanism...and I can't think of something more out of control for a child than a global pandemic that disrupted 2 years of their schooling...!!!
