This morning I had an appointment with the anxiety clinic at the hospital to do an evaluation of my condition. It took a while, but the nurse who interviewed me was quite nice (and Polish, just like me, although she had the accent and even pronounced the 'w' in my last name as a 'v'). She left a message on my phone and asked if I could come in for ( Read more... )

horesback riding! dooooooit. it's going to be worth it unless you're hooked up with a dicky stable. also, western > english, as far as styles of riding go. comfort-wise. HAY GUESS WHO WENT TO HORSE CAMP TOO.

Ahaha;ldsf I kind of like English better, mostly because you can use two hands with the reigns. D: Lol, I learned all sorts of pointless horse things from the Saddle Club book series. HOW COOL AM I

I say yes for sure. I used to be pretty down with local stables (my older sister rides/trains as a career). Star Mac used to be okay... I don't know if they're still well known. I used to go to this place on Indian Trail between Brantford and Jerseyville. It was great... but I'm not sure if they still offer any kind of lessons or if they just board now. So basically, I'm no help at all.

If you ever do any trail riding, I'll totally come with!

Aw, you're helpful! I just need to find a place nearby that is relatively cheap. Easier said than done, as our town is snooty.

If you can get Saturday off, the McMaster Outdoors Club is doing a trail ride. It costs $55 for non-members, but it's a four hour ride! I could probably drive you, if need be.
