I hate hearing about the way your mom treats you. It's so frustrating (and if it is for me, then obviously it's quite a lot more so for you). I mean ... you have done nothing wrong. I don't know, I guess she's just terrified I'll be a terrific failure or something. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but that's pretty much impossible to do most of the time. She was supposed to see a counsellor with my dad, but that didn't happen, so I have no idea what's going on.

I've brought your app up a few times to the managers. I keep telling them about your good qualities and the fact that you still have your uniform (although we're getting new ones) and you've been trained. They haven't out-and-out said anything to me, but I know they would be concerned with your limitations with your hours. Other than that, I have to be honest... there is a lot of competition. We're getting at least one application a day. I still think you have the edge, though

Yeah, that'd be a good idea. I reeeeeeeally don't like the idea of working 8 hour shifts. Like, a lot. But I also don't like what this lack-of-job thing is doing to my relationship with my mother.
