I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of Armageddon. I mean, with the great lump of rock and impending doom and the drills...sort of inevitable, eh? Shame the only good bit in that film was Mr Pink Steve Buscemi riding the bomb.
Aww, Casanova <3s Rocco, even thousands of years in the future =D
This is very true. Steven Buscemi is good in everything, though, and I found The Impossible Planet to be far more entertaining than Armageddon could ever hope to be.
Sigh, Giacomo and Rocco; their love is so eternal. ;_;
Oh, there are people that are able to do much better screencap recaps than I'm capable of doing. (ie. nostalgia_lj's are quite hilarious) Mine are kind of lazy. :( But I'm glad some people enjoy them! ♥
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous! ♥ (Which makes me feel good about my own, because it's almost identical to yours, k;';fklsa.)
And I disagree about Douglas Adams - though maybe that's because I read the entire Hitchiker's Guide series in rapid succession, and by the end wanted to shoot myself in the face. ... or, you know, something less violent s;aklskl;fsa it was a little overkill. But I do think he's great, and the title of that book = win!
Thank you! ♥ People with long blonde hair are apparently envied by many people, which I don't quite understand. I'd rather have red hair.
Aw, I suppose I'm just a huge Douglas Adams fan. :( Reading his books quickly in a short amount of time might be difficult, though, because they're full of so many random stories and concepts; it takes a while to absorb everything. A few years ago, I spent a large portion of the summer slowly going through the four books that follow Hitchhiker's Guide. The end of Mostly Harmless was dead depressing, though.
This is all incredibly creepy, as I was just thinking how much more red hair would suit me. :x
I love the man, I really do, but reading the entire series in a short period of time was like BAM! English humor overload. But I'm eager to get back into reading his stuff, as it is excellent.
:O You should try red hair! I would, but my mother would have a heart attack if I didn't give her proper warning.
Reading the Hitchhiker's Guide series quickly seems like it would be rather overwhelming. I suggest trying the books again at a slower pace, just so you have time to enjoy them. Then again, I've always been a sucker for all kinds of British humour (I was pretty much raised on it), so I'm probably biased. XD
I need to learn not to read these spoilers but wow. The last one I saw was with the pig people...forgive me i forgot their name! Anyway, I must agree with opiumgaze. Your reviews are quite entertaining.
Reading spoilers is not cool. >:| But aw, you should try to catch up! The episode with the alien pig seems like so long ago, and the episodes get much better after that.
