What are Canadian poppies like? As a member of the Commonwealth, we too observe Rememberance Day. I see the British poppies on TV and ours aren't like that. Maybe I'll have to send you one so you can compare it, since getting your sister to send me a Canadian one would really be stretching the friendship!

Eccentric aunts are good. I'd like one for my baby, but I my sister will be the AWOL or MIA aunt and Steve's sister... well... she'll be fine, but she's not really eccentric.

Thanks for the pic - different from ours. Interesting.

Advanced degrees in engineering is certainly different, though not quite eccentric in my book.

Attention is good - just the "right" kind of spoiling! :-)
