Dad's wake and funeral

I'm sorry I wasn't around this weekend to see your earlier posts. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family dear Matty. xoxo

didn't know yr pop was a firefighter. my brother-in-law is and I had the good fotune to do some logo work for the iaff years and years ago.

Don't hit me but I want to see that pic you took of yr pop holding his head in front of an empty field -- you told me you made him stop and pose and somehow that makes it HILARIOUS to me. Still thinking of you and yours every day.

mike, how is your mom? about that picture of my dad in the field,
haha. I'll post that pic someday. they used another picture for the funeral that I took, a totally ridiculous and staged photo I took of my mom grabbing my dad by his hair in one hand and a big pair of scissors in the other. my dad looks scared and my mom looks mean. for some reason all my brothers and sisters thought it was appropriate. yeah my dad was a fireman the whole time I was growing up till I was out of college. (and for a bout ten years before I was even born!).
thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. we've been through a think or two like this together, if memory serves me right. I still think about that all the time.

Yeah, me too. I think it has made some of this easier over time, really.

Mom got word that her kidneys aren't as bad as they'd feared. No surgery at the present time. so they are a lot less scared. Me too.
