You've piqued my interest! I was part of a small group of close writers back in the day but we've really died out. Lovely idea.

Thanks! I injured it in one of the more stupid ways I could possibly have imagined, so I'm sucking it up in the spirit of cosmic humor. Tequila is bad.

It's always nice to have a sturdy group of people around who aren't judgy and who encourage you. Writing, smoking and television are my 'me time' activities at the end of the week, where I refuse to study any more or do much of anything unless it's for myself. It's curbed the amount of angst in my life drastically, so at the least remember to carve some time out for just you.

José Cuervo and I are old friends and so, I know what you mean completely. He's walked me into some of my craziest times.

It's an awesome idea and I've read the rules. I'm correct in my assumption that readers can be anyone, right? I can join, read and comment without actually being accepted on any previous work of my own?

Yup! Readers can be anyone, as casual or non-casual as they care to be. The only time an application is involved is if you're looking for posting access :) I've got to go back and reformat things sometime soon and make that more clear, sorry, haha.
