You know, it really was. It wasn't Shaun or Hot Fuzz - it's not mocking a genre or anything and it's not like laugh after laugh. But it's touching and cringey and giggly and kind of sweet. I really liked it, actually. Kind of a hopeful movie, a little slapstick.

If you're worried about it, I might wait until it was rent-able since I know people build up Simon Pegg movies and this is a little different from what he's done before.

Tl;Dr? I liked it, just don't expect it to be pure comedy :D
