(I fear the fan fiction too).
My reactions were quick and varied.
First, was 'Oh, that makes so much more sense for some reason....'
Second, was 'OH! WOW! THAT MAKES SOOOO MUCH MORE SENSE!'
Third, was 'It's about time there was a successful, powerful, respectable gay character in a mainstream series.'
Fourth, was 'Gee, I wonder what Dumbledore really sees in the mirror of Erised?' I expressed this to mom and she, suprisingly, was sympathetic: "That's sad." she said.)

Fifth, was 'I gotta read the book AGAIN!'

YES EXACTLY. It is of win proportions. But now I feel even sadder for Dumbles than I did before. He luffed Grindewald and had to kill him ;.;

I found myself, pitifully, heart-broken thinking about that whole ordeal. Makes me sob.
