I finally got the new Rick Riodan book from the library. (Two months on the waiting list, OMG!)

Guess what I'm going to be doing this weekend? :-D

Good thing the world didn't end before I got this read. LOL

Ooo, is it Mark of Athena?

If so you are in for a FABULOUS TIME. I love his series, both the Greco-Roman mythology one and the Egyptian one. Fun, fast, and really good.

Yep, that's the one! I'm *so* looking forward to it. I love all the Percy Jackson books, and haven't been disappointed in this new series at all. :-)

I was really wary when I first started it but, no, that was me being dumb. This series is *just* as good as the first, and to me, actually better. I like the idea of a Greek/Roman schism (not a spoiler, if you've read the first two, which I am assuming you have). It speaks to the mythology geek in me.

But seriously, this book is awesome. Enjoy!!

I know what you mean. When I first started reading The Lost Hero, I was all, "Wait, where's Percy?" "Where's Percy?" "OMG, WHERE'S PERCY?!!!" LOL Didn't take long to fall for the new characters, though. :-)
