I hate the fact that I can't seem to go anywhere on the internet anymore without fucking Facebook and Twitter being there saying, "SIGN IN WITH ME! USE ME! LOVE ME! JOIN ME! SHARE WITH ME! ME!ME!ME!" Gah, go away Facebook and Twitter. Leave my other internet shit alone!

I completely agree with you. I really dislike they way they display posts and then by some algorithm or another decide that they have no older posts to show you. On LJ, you can go back to the year zot if and when you like.

I really just don't get it. I guess it is a good tool for people with very busy lives who want to share EVERYTHING in tiny spurts. I neither want to know nor want to share. Alas, I guess I'm just not plugged into hipness of social networking. LOL

I really don't get Facebook. I have an account, but I never use it because, no, I don't want to let everyone know my every oh so exciting second of my life.

LOL! Too true! I keep forgetting to check Twitter though...I did have some sent as messages to my phone but as I also read fanfic on my phone, the interruptions were annoying.
