Dear Steelers:

Dec 06, 2009 16:09

You and I are breaking up for the season. I love you guys. Really I do. But I can't be seen with a team that loses to the fucking Raiders. Not to mention that Super Bowl Champions have lost four fucking games in a row!

I'll be back next season. But we're on a break for the rest of this year.

Brokenheartedly yours,

Sandy

It's like their total ability to play football rests on the shoulders of Troy Polamalu. Even the fucking offense can't play for shit without him being active.

exactly! he's a great player, but c'mon, you're professionals, one player being out shouldn't make that much difference!

they have no chance at the playoffs now - just like the last time they won the Superbowl

jeez

Well, at least last time they kinda had an excuse what with Roethlisberger acting like Evel Knievel and wrecking his bike, and then getting a concussion on top of that. This time? Pure shitty playing and missed scores. :-(

I just don't know what the hell happened to them, but they've turned into a team of massive suck. Now I have to find someone else to root for in the Super Bowl. Please, God, don't make the two teams playing be the Colts and the Patriots.

Blah. I sent the Titans backpacking in Europe in order to find themselves.

We'll see if it worked next season. ;)

And now I'm envisioning the Titans in little lederhosen, folk dancing in a tiny Austrian town, eating bratwurst and drinking beer.

Can I be a Titan? Well, except for the lederhosen. LOL

Hahaha! You're right. I'm letting them off too easy.

I think they should change the uniforms to lederhosen and just dance around on the field. It'd be way less painful to watch. :D

The Steelers are having a disappointing season. My sympathies to you.

BTW do you get Universal Sports Channel on your cable or satellite tv? They carry figure skating. I've been able to watch the Grand Prix series which hasn't been carried of ESPN for several years now.

Man, the Steelers went from having a pretty darned good season to stinking up the joint. LOL

No, I don't get USC. Never heard of it. It's been years since I've really watched figure skating, but I do enjoy it when I do. I remember when Scotty Hamilton was still competing, I was glued to the tv whenever he was on. I love that guy! :-)

It's too bad that you don't get USC. Scott Hamilton now does a lot of the the commentary for singles skaters. I'm one of his fans also.

My husband's having a crappy season as well -- he's a Falcons fan and they almost were shut out by the Eagles yesterday. It's hard because my teams are doing well and his, horrible.

But, anyway, I know how much it sucks as the Giants took a huge step downward, um, just 5 games ago. I'm sorry :(

You're a Giants fan? .....

Okay, I still like you, but it was a close call. LOL

I'm an Ole Miss, old-school Manning fan so am a Giants (and Colts) fan. I've found it's good to have two teams to cheer for because usually one does well even if the other doesn't...
