Spamity, spam, spam

Something I've noticed lately in the world of SGA fanfic... Warnings for everything from flatulence to sex with farm animals. I mean, Christ, do we really need paragraph long warnings? If you've stated that a pairing is M/M and you've rated it Adult, I don't think I need to be warned about the actual sex acts you've written. I'm going to figure ( Read more... )

Especially the ones that spoil the story...and yeah, I appreciate being warned for, say, mpreg, but I find that most of the things I prefer to avoid I can generally see from the first few paragraphs.

I am fond of mis-spelled summaries though - saves wear and tear on the back button...

Hee, yeah. If they can't even proofread their summaries, I'm guessing that they would only fail more miserably at proofing a story. :)
