So long, TAR. See you next season

Well, last night was the final straw for me and this season of The Amazing Race, Dysfunctional Family Edition. I hate all the families left, the "challenges" are every bit as lame as I feared they would be, and it keeps shifting between making me grit my teeth in irritation and dozing off from disinterest. I haven't checked on the ratings yet, ( Read more... )

I"m with you. Last night made the decision for me too. Between the gross stereotyping and stupid challenges (A rusty chair and a TRAILER PARK?!), it's just no fun. So, yeah, having enjoyed all the eps of Supernatural that I've watched, my TiVo is being reprogrammed so that it's just My Name is Earl and Supernatural. TAR just got bumped.

I think I'm going to look up the ratings on the season's TAR. I'm really curious to see if it's doing as well as past seasons.

I've only seen about half an episode of My Name is Earl, but I really do like Jason Lee. If it were an hour long show, I might watch it instead of Supernatural and continue to wait until Sunday to watch that show, but I refuse to watch The Office. I saw the first episode and found it painfully unfunny.

You lasted longer than me - I gave up on this season's TAR after the first episode.

Supernatural was really good last night. And I would like Close to Home better if I didn't spend the whole episode wondering why the hell they don't give Christian Kane more than two lines a week.

I have Supernatural on tape, so I'll probably watch it tonight after I get home.

Christian is totally wasted on that show. And I don't think they ever show his butt. See, totally wasted. *g*
