I just bought a couple fanbooks last night from Japan and the person said it'll be a month or more until I'll recieve the items from there (J) to here (Mn).

...O_o And I still don't remember why I bought the damn things either...

Was it the shipping, maybe? o__o; Or the person you ordered from? I really hope it wont be a month or more! I've received orders from JPQueen at a reasonable time. I didn't use a money order or anything, but still.

Why would it take a month or more unless you picked/they're using the lowest costing shipping (SAL [ship? Overseas] = about 4-6 weeks?)?

I think it took almost about a week to get a postcard from Japan though... u____u

Which fanbooks did you buy? XD Curious me! I need to be shot! XDD

Fruits Basket Fanbooks, I might get a extra one fanbook from some manga series I don't know.

I have bought doujinshi from her before and I don't like her pricing but I thought these books were a good deal. You know two--maybe three books--for eighteen-ish dollars. ^_^ The shipping was $10. That was the lowest but wouldn't make a differance because the highest $30 and it only knocked off a week. Bleh.

Usually when I buy things from Japan, it would take the whole month but I have gotten items in two weeks.

What are you buying?

If it only knocked a week off, I'd rather pay the lowest, really. Unless it was SAL. o__o For some reason, it makes me nervous. ^-^;

I bought the G-Defend Artbook on eBay for $28.00 from someone in Japan and I really wanted it so I sent US Cash... I figured since they had a lot of positive feedback (in the 200s) I thought it'd be fine. I sent out the letter/money on Sep. 29th, so I'm guessing about a week to get there? I don't know how fast regular letters get around in Japan though. ^-^;

So, I guess I should be hoping for a two week at the least of waiting until it gets here. u__u I can wait I guess. I don't really have much of a choice anymore! XDDD
