Very early this morning my grandfather passed away. He was 92 and his body had been failing the past few weeks which had been very hard to watch. i know what it is like to loose a loved one. as you might know by now. it was only 2 months ago that my father passed on.
he will be greatly missed, but always remembered- as i hope your grandfather will be.

Dealing with death is something everyone does differently, and since I'm not exactly sure how you do I'm not going to tell you that everything is going to be ok. But you will be. And so will he.

Its been 6 years and one week to the day since I lost my grandmother. I still think of her from time to time, but I know she lived a long full life and is at peace now, and her spirit lives on through her sons and her grandchildren and even her great grandchildren (three of whom she was even lucky enough to meet).
Life is never the same after the loss of a loved one, but just because its different doesn't mean it has to be worse or better, just different. I'm here to talk to, and until tomorrow I'm still at school so I'm concievably just a moderate walk away (I could try to find my way to your house from here...) if you want someone to hang out with. Otherwise, see you at New Years. I hope this loss doesn't darken the holiday season too much for you, but you seem to be handling things well. I didn't know your grandfather, but from what you say I belive he would be very proud.
