And it hasn't been FIVE years! I mean, my last (pathetic) post was just a few months ago! And it's only been more like 3 years. Maybe 4... But there were little post here and there.

Ok fine, it has been a long time. What's going on around here these days? I recognize very few names on the Big Bang posting schedule. Hell, I recognize very few names on my f-list as far as posts in comms and in the past few days I don't think anyone I actually KNOW has posted anything. Did everyone bail on LJ? This gives me a sad. :(

There are still some of us old folk around, but precious few.A lot have gone to Dreamwidth or Tumblr *shudder* and then there are the ones with a twitter account. I didn't bother with a twitter account. I just got a megaphone and every three minutes or so I shout through it about what I'm doing in very short sentences. I've already got three followers, but I think two of them might be cops.

HAHAHAHAHA! Your megaphone and cops comment made me spit out my tea!!!I have a Twitter but I never use it and I apparently follow too many people to keep up. I have a few set up (like Jared) that if they post to Twitter I get it in a text. That works for me.

I've never really played with Dreamwidth much. Tumblr confuses the shit out of me but I've noticed I'm not the only one so that's good. I guess I'm old-fashioned - I just like the feel of LJ.I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and will start posting more - like an update on my life for the past few years. It's funny, even with Facebook, which is supposed to be "the real you" *sputter cough* - I don't feel comfortable there as I always have here.

LJ is definitely different, and I miss the days when there were SO many people here and it was so vibrant and alive. That said, there are still some wonderful people here. And I'm doing big bang once again, so you'll recognize a few names sooner or later :)

My god, I miss you, too. I hope so badly to be back east by fall. I've tried to love the mountains but they just don't love me back.

I did see you and Sue signed up for Big Bang!! I'm excited!

I figure I'm gonna stick with LJ till the bitter end, lol. Maybe even make some new friends along the way even though I miss so many others. :-)
