ah, I'm aware of how Japanese students treat exams as source of life ne!~
I heard from a friend of mine that during periods when exam results are shown to the examinees, trains tend to be late because there are students who jumped into the train railings to take their lives away because they failed..
But I've always seen suicide as a very weak act.
