If ever they wanted to bring the amulet back, which they won't because Kripke was a *dick* and never got how important that thing (among others) was to us, this would be the way to do it. And Sam and Dean, so incredibly perfectly in character that it feels like an episode I missed.

I miss the amulet. :( But I understand the problems behind working it back into the story. But at least it leaves us with the option to fix it in fic over and over again! Thanks for the comment.

Actually logical explanation for how it can still be around, and I love that Sam didn't just give it back--you kept the emotional states of the boys very true to where they are right now, but give us hope, too!

That was lovely. I really like the place they are in -- not OK, but going to be OK, because it's clear that they both need and want to be OK. Both of them in pain because of the other, but somehow still solid underneath that.
