Wow, Logan is so far past reedemable it's unimaginable.
I prefer reading fics with a nicer Logan, one that is able to learn from his mistakes but this one is quite interesting and though extremely flawed, I'm interested to see how he picks himself up. I'm looking forward to learning why he couldn't ever learn from his mistakes and why he just kept digging a hole deeper for himself.
How will V ever take him back now??

Thanks! I actually prefer a darker Logan, and I try not to soften him up. For me the most interesting and revealing Logan moments have always come when he manages to cross that line. Like, the bum fights he orchestrated in S1, which, to me, was just the worst thing he's ever done, but then it brought out the whole thing with his dad. He burns down the community pool, but it brings about that scene where Veronica breaks up with him, and he's just utterly vulnerable. He uses Hannah for his own purposes...but then he actually starts to care for her. I guess I associate an evil Logan with a vulnerable Logan.

I've already made a brief comment on this chapter in the post on the fic comm, but I wanted to make another comment. Sorry! I just want to agree with you about preferring a darker Logan. What I love about this story is that Logan is fucked up and dark, but he's still Logan. He's not a watered down version, or only the good parts of Logan. Yet, he's still the one we've come to love so much

Hee, the more comments the merrier. I'm really happy you're liking the dark Logan. I was starting to think that I might have taken him *too* far, but honetly? He's a really dark character. And I hope he continues being dark, on-screen and in my imagination. I don't think it's a matter of redemption, so much as something making him want to change. He's never going to go out and start giving to charity and become a preacher to make up for his evil deeds...but he might get to the point where he's not se self-destructive any more...if that makes any sense.

Yeah, a couple people have pointed out the fact that Logan has lots of money and could have just picked some up on the way there. I...wasn't really thinking, so whoops. Much better at emotions than plot, here.

And...spoiler averse how? As far as VM goes, I don't like to know what's coming regarding the season mysteries, b/c it takes away from my OMG moment, but other than that it doesn't bother me. As in, I don't mind hearing about what's coming re Veronica's love life.

Honestly - I always try not to let myself be spoiled, but I'm weak, so I often end up failing.

This was so absolutely fabulous. Very intense and kept me on the edge of my seat and totally in character, but now I see there's a chapter seven so that's all the comment I have time for!
