I came out as 100% Lutheran, 97% Anglican, and 87% Roman Catholic. Eastern Orthodox was next, but then, Non-Calvinist Baptist. seventh Day Adventist was at the bottom of the list.
Well, this quiz is to check what Christian denomination suits your personal beliefs the best. But most of those on the list are Protestant denominations and differences between them are minor compared to differences between, say, Protestantism (as a whole) and Roman Catholicism.
I'd say it's fun for someone who knows those (sometimes tiny) differences - you know, it's like an internal joke. :)
Totally off topic (or at least beside it) I was discussing Poland and religion the other day (not surprisingly) and she talked about the Protestant minority in Poland, but didn't quite remember the numbers (for any of the religios groups), do you?
And for some reason I am 100% a Methodist/Wesleyan/Nazarene, and I who had believed that I was a normal (leeeeeeft wing) member of the Norwegian state church! Learning something every day it seems.
There are no trustworthy statistics, besides saying that 95% Poles are Catholics - which means, in fact, that they have been baptized in the Catholic church (these statistics use certificates of baptism as a base). However, even if someone converted later to another denomination/religion or became a non-believer, he's still included in these 95% (because he has been baptized...) If you're interested, however, I can try to check out the real numbers. The largest Protestant denomination are Lutherans. My church (Reformed, aka Calvinist) has ca. 5,000 members.
I know, but... well, I've been able to do "how gay do you act" tests for gay guys and "what woman should you date" and just about everything out there.. I didn't think it could be THAT complicated. But it is. Here's to a new-found respect for Christianity :)
