AHAHA I WROTE SO MANY OF MY OWN CLICHES INTO THIS FIC. /shameless and doesn't even bother to try anymore.
Also I am kind of digging the idea that (academically at least) Green is still the leader because he's a professor while Red and Leaf are still working on their postdocs?!!! Well, it's a bit complicated. Green finished and defended his dissertation about one month before Red did, but he did it in December and Red in January, so they technically received degrees in different semesters. At one point in November though, they get into this huge argument which eventually leads to Red running away to the library and them having library make-up sex 8D

WHY IS THIS SO CUTE. Green and Red in academia. OFC Green would be the guy that finishes his phd in 3 years. PLEASE LET ME TAKE A CLASS WITH GREEN. He will be the best (associate) professor ever. Is he the professor that never returns anyone's grades??

Mmmm I think Green would be an assistant prof first. But like they promoted him from lecturer to prof which means he's officially part of the group! And Jared is all like B| IDK if you'd want to take one of his classes though; he teaches history. Of like old civilizations. People only go to his classes because he's a hot young prof!
I will tell you if i ever write that damn story. :C But as I told you, Leaf is a cell biology PhD and Red is an anthropology PhD. They received their degrees in consecutive semesters. They all went to school together!! I don't want to spoil too much.
