Wow. Very powerful, poignant, and sad. You captured her feelings so very well: her worry, her struggle to have hope, and her despair and hopelessness.

I think the teaser line: "She never thought that his spirit returned to her at that moment only to say goodbye", is my favorite. It's what caught my attention to come read this.

I love the collage, too. Even in Death is one of my favorite Evanescence songs.
