I love October.

I have a few updates and announcements to make, and they're all good ones:

No, I'm not around that often. Sorry about that. These days, if I have the laptop open, I try to keep off the Internet as much as possible to eliminate distractions. That way I can actually get some work done.

That said, I'll try to be more social soon. I do post to twitter and facebook a little more often.

Thanks, man! I'm really looking forward to starting next week. But, it's a little bittersweet. I'm going to miss my current coworkers a whole lot. They're a great group of people.

Yes, Dagan's a nice little outfit. I've really been impressed so far. They are open about their policies and procedures, they discuss their business plans, and seem very accessible. You don't always get that with a publisher, especially that accessibility part (as I'm sure you know).
