do you ever go back and review old lj posts and then cringe with shame? 
thank you so much for continuing to be my friend, online or otherwise, despite my obvious lack of tact/spelling skills/ability to filter what goes through my head before it comes out of my hands and so on. i wish you all a wonderful 2008!

i don't know why i'm posting this here now while i'm chatting with you at the same time, but yes, i went back and re-read mine not too long ago and was laughing at all my anger posts back then. sigh, the memories.

OK I just found this post from a few years ago:

"whilst in line at a local drive thru, a kid in the car in front of me looked out of the backseat window.being the nice person i am, i forced a little smile on my face "hello, have a nice night, whoever the hell you are" kind of smile. little did i know, the car in front of me was filled with high school boys, as was the car in front of them.

apparentley, my friendly gesture was taken as a come on, and every window was rolled down as the boys stuck their heads out to see who had hit on their backseat friend. it was a big deal-they were pointing and smirking- one kid even took a picture of me with the camera on his phone.

i did the only mature thing i could think of and stuck my tongue out at them."
