{raise eyebrows} How long-term out of the series is Clara? Because she seems popular enough with you and my other Whovian friends, I'm surprised if this is a permanent development. {wink, Smile}

She's permanently out of the series. Jenna Coleman's contracted until the end of this season (which I think is the epsiode after tonight's - or possibly two episodes after it) but she won't show up except in flashbacks, or as someone else who just happens to be similar to Clara (that was actually a bit of a plot point and a mystery during her first year on the show). She's been with the show three years now, which puts her well up in the ranks of long-timers
