You weren't expecting to know so many pieces on an oldies show? {Sympathetic Look}

I think it's that the curation of the Saturday night oldies show has recently passed to someone whose age is within twenty years of my own. (What I call "the oldies show" is the national radio programme's Saturday night request show. It's on a non-commercial station, so the only restrictions on what they play are availability and decency.)

A couple of days before each show, an incomplete playlist gets published here. You're welcome to listen if anything in the broader playlist sounds like you'd enjoy it - the "Listen live" links as the top of the page seem to work wherever in the world you are. Generally the first two hours are safer listening than the last two hours. (As I'm typing this, it's about 9:25 pm on Friday, so the show starts at about 21½ hours from now).

Thanks. I'll have to look into that link, and maybe into the show as well. {Smile}

Just wait for the day when the show, full of music you remember as new music, really entitled "The Oldies Show" by the radio station.
