I miss season 1 so bad and this is what I would have loved to see. Your story showing the NH relationship unfold is what I would have ultimately loved to have seen on the show. There's such raw emotion there and passion and that real sense of hesitancy on both their parts to move forward and admit their true feelings.

I know it's hard to get motivated to write NH fics lately (believe me, I know!) but I really hope you get the chance to update this again soon. Thanks for the update, Lee :-)

Thank you so much, Lori! I was watching some S1 episodes the other day and gah, I love early!NH so, so much. The newness of it all for both of them just makes me giddy.
