Okay, Olympics. You already own me pretty much heart and soul. Damn your moving montages that leave me (a) crying and (b) crazily chanting "USA" in my apartment.

As a complete aside, I have a bitching awful ear infection, only the second one in my life. Balls.

Whenever the Olympics are on, that is all I watch. I read coverage at work, try to watch the live webcasts, and then at night, I'm glued to the tv. I don't understand nearly a damn thing about any of the sports (besides there is no way in hell I could ever do that) but good lord, the athletes are just so awesome.

I (and I suspect Iowa but he was being all MANLY and denying) were totally tearing up at the little biographical segments last night.

I don't remember Olympics going so late at night when I was a kid. Really - 11:30? Is that a function of games location? It's killing me.

Thanks! I haven't had one since I was like six or seven and ugh, they're horrible. I'm not the best patient in the world when I'm sick anyway, but now I'm acting like I'm back in the toddler stage. Only with no one to hear my bitching (or bring me juice, damnnit).

it's bee about 8 years since i've had to deal. damnable thing took forever to heal. it does suck being alone when you're sick
