So, what sort of wedding would that be? Is there any difference between a Catholic wedding and a Methodist wedding (assuming you convert, like you mentioned)?

the only difference in the religions are that they are more into singing and see church as a celebration. there is another one but i'll expalin it later is complicated and i'm not sure if you'll undersand what i'm saying...but i'm not sure we'll cross that bridge when we come to it

I say if ye want to do it and you feel like it's more the sect for you, go for it. Especially if you've moved to Texas and you're with your mother; you mentioned that she used to be Methodist, she'll probably support you, too.
