My housemate got me a Rowena Ravenclaw chocolate frog card and it is looking at me super judgily right now, so I should post. And the thing I want to post about is Scott and Bailey.

( partly because season 4 started last night and partly because I just finished all of it and I need to persuade everyone ever to watch this )

How did I miss the new series of Scott and Bailey? I am ashamed of myself. They are clearly not filming in my home town any more, so I wonder where... I am off to search for repeats!

Damn, my hopes of finding it on ITV at a random time have been thwarted and I'll be forced to use the itv player. Bother. I do love Scott and Bailey. I love that every time we meet a powerful character, it is a woman - the Chief Inspector, the lead detectives, the coroner...it keeps on going. I love that the clingy ex is a man (although it is a bit creepy). I love that they are a long way from perfect, but that their flaws are frustrating and understandable. Bechdel test not so much passed as smashed.
