August is nearly over, and I don't think I am going to finish any more books this month. (My new textbooks for September are here, and I am reading them and going GLEEEEE a lot. :D ) So, booklog.

Academia has destroyed my reading ability for sure. Though I am currently reading Howl's Moving Castle. So far it makes more narrative sense than the film XD

Have you read The Blythes Are Quoted, the unabridged version of The Road to Yesterday? It seems that Maud Montgomery had a change of heart about some of her earlier anti-pacifist sentiments as WWII began to dawn, and that's reflected in some of the framing narrative that was excised from the collection when it was originally published.
