Because I have nothing deep to say at the moment, I will give you two interesting and worthwhile links on Egypt... and then move on to my true metier, which is apparently TV.

And Community seriously only gets BETTER from there. It really hits its stride after the first couple of episodes and then it's just amaaaazing. There is the occasional misstep? But considering the type of humor it uses, it messes up almost remarkably rarely. And - and - ABED. And Troy! omg, Katie, if you are shipping them now JUST WAIT. *flappy hands*

Yay, I'm glad you're watching and liking Community, because you always have such smart reactions to TV. :) I know the show will never quite "go there" with Troy and Abed, but that won't stop me from adoring their dynamic.

Community is made of win.

So is Troy/Abed.

He is kind of great! So charming.

I felt guilty for kind of laughing at her horribleness, too, and then: KABAM. OMG. We so need S2 to be now.

I'm so glad you're watching Community! Lately I've been feeling that it would be Even More Awesome if either Troy and Abed were a girl, though. I love the way this show portrays their geekery, but girl geeks are not represented, and that's kind of sad. Still, it's a minor complaint.

Ooh, at one point Troy offhandedly refers to Abed as his other half, and that is beautiful too.

I am told that it gets less good at girls, at least for a bit, which is a shame because it's really pretty good right now! (Being... early S1.)

TROY SAYS WHAT. OH MY HEART. THE LOVE. (I have just seen them sitting and bitching about everyone not realising that they were heard the whole time. Bwee. But does not beat CRUNKING. Which is amazing.)

I think my all-time favorite Abed moment, though, is the one where they try to set him up with a girl. I died a few times watching that.

They are not outstanding at girls, but I think they're pretty good.
