there is no way to make the phrase "adult milk" right.

So, I am back! I had a lovely long weekend, which included corsets, rum, shenannigating, and way too much use of the phrase "We want pre-nup!" Tim and Tony equalling love may have been involved at some points. Also, surprise!non-fail-hotel for next year! This is exciting. I do enjoy me some connotations-ing and it was really nice to see people, and even meet a ( Read more... )

Seriously. So he can make movies! That doesn't actually mean he didn't commit a crime for which it's probably a good idea to make sure he is penalized in some way! Good fucking grief.

(I am so sad Terry Gilliam and Tilda Swinton are on the list. Oh, people. I thought better of you, SWINTON and your crazy awesome polyamorous ways and Gilliam and your funny. Like comments on the post say, Rushdie makes sense because okay, he's going to have some very strong feelings about not extraditing anyone, but the rest? :()

Hi and yes, more NCIS! Yay!

its like a get out of jail free card, for life!

although the swiss 'he was living here for 30 years but we never knew where he was until now' defence is just laughable too.

I have seriously seen people say that because of the troubles he faced in life (family killed by Nazis, then wife killed by Manson) he didn't have a choice. Um, I kind of want to explode on behalf of all my relations who escaped from Hitler and didn't end up drugging and raping a thirteen year old. Oy.

The Roman Polanski thing makes me angry. No doubt the drugged, defenceless barely pubescent girl was asking for it. She led him on and ruined the happiness of a Bright and Talented Star! because she encouraged him to have a Moment of Weakness. And men always have those, right?

apparently the girl in question has said she doesnt want him charged - but this is after settling with him privately, so...

The way I heard it, she doesn't want him charged because she's sick of the media attention. Now, I think her wishes do matter, but it seems to me that the real solution would be to leave her alone. and concentrate on him.

p.s. No, Roman Polanski is not a fucking martyr. He's a rapist. There's a difference.

This, this, this.

Dude, seriously. It's so skeevy: he has admitted to all the salient points re. horribly abusing a 13 year old girl, then he ran away from actual sentencing.

(And if he'd done the time back then, he'd have got about 80 days, i have heard estimated. EIGHTY DAYS.)

Also I love you and your icon and hope you sorted your poor be-dinnered keyboard!

Oh honey, your spacebar-less-ness is so sad and yet amusing!

I am still in Manc, and I am prob busy Sunday but was mostly planning on doing some shopping on Saturday... maybe a coffee/smoothie or something would be doable? *hopeful face*

you should be able (if its not a laptop) to wash it with water, but you have to wait a good few hours for it to dry, so it might be easier to just buy another one, unless it's a laptop.

also the keys -should- carefully pry off, and removing them will make it easier.

failing that, you need Pacman :P
