It has been a looong two days (three year old with chicken pox + Katie = *flailing with tired*: even if said three year old is very cute when referring to himself as a "poorly boy", I am not reading any of the sodding Noddy books again until at least Monday) but I have just finished the first two episodes of In Treatment. And I... am entirely ( Read more... )

Huh, that sounds really interesting.

Also, I need you to discuss The West Wing with me, for you have it in your interests but have been slack in joining my recent squee! ;)

I think you might really like it, absolutely!

And I have been rubbish at replying, woe, but the West Wing is one of those things I look back on very fondly but tinged with sadness - some of it was so good, but then it wasn't the same show any more, really, and it's tough to know what to say about that. I will have a go for you, though, darlin'. :)

Aw, Josh and Sam icon. They are SO CUTE together. I just watched the episode where they built a fire together in the Mural Room, and it was adorable.

They can be adorable! I love that episode! And yet they can also be So. Messed. Up. Oh my god. (Uh, should you care about Josh/Sam and its epic messed-up and yet weirdly adorable joy, you will want to read these. That's how I see canon, and also, omg.) :)

EEEEEEE YAYS.

I forced myself to stop watching while I was working on this essay, because I have a massive crush on Michelle Forbes and it was distracting was afraid I'd get the different Michelle Forbes characters mixed up in my head and thus in the essay. JUST WAIT TILL SHE GETS AIR TIME. Like, I fully admit I'm biased, and I also admit that the entire cast for this show is fucking amazing, but she? Knocks my SOCKS off. AND DIANNE WIEST. OMG.

BUT YAY I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE WATCHING. You'll have to tell me everything you like. Seriously. Email me all the giddy little details you love. I'm going to start re-watching next week, hopefully.

(Hi, I'm essay-writing and thus a little dorky, yes.)

OMG Kate's PAUL'S WIFE! I did not realise, I totally thought she was a patient, until I saw the episode titles and stuff. OMG!

YES

THEY'RE AWESOME TOGETHER

OMG

(Seriously, I heard about this show and heard about it and then fox1013 said "Also, Michelle forbes!" and I was all "O RLY? *DOWNLOADS*"

...and I haven't regretted it yet.

I looooove Kate soooooo much. And I don't even have a crush on her, so it's clearly not bias in my case.

I think maybe it is a show people generally don't have a lot to talk about? But it is very good and yay for you liking it too!

Thanks for recommending that. I watched the first two episodes last night and it's completely super! Blair Underwood's character was soooo good, and it's all so complex and layered! Can't believe I didn't do psychology sometimes.
