OK, so I just bought a ticket. This ticket is for a plane, which will take me to visit aneli8, FOR GREAT YAY. However, I was just reaidng through the ticket details to make sure everything was all right and I discovered something. Yay, this made me happy. I wonder if there's a website for preserving ridiculous disclaimers, like flies in amber. So much love omg.

Damn, I wish there was one. I giggle every time I go to the UK and spot a "suitable for vegetarians" note on a bag of salad.

I also like the 'not suitable for vegetarians' marker on frozen chicken and sausages and stuff. Heh.

Hah! Like the packets of peanuts which say 'warning, may contain nuts'. I bloody hope they do (and anyone daft enough to eat a packet of peanuts who has a nut allergy shouldn't be warned it may contain nuts, they deserve what's coming to them). But the aeroplane thing is far past that kind of 'duh'. Woah.

Is that not because of open jaw flights?

So it might go

London Gatwick
Somewhere really cool

Somewhere really cool
London Heathrow.

And you'd be landing in a different airport from the one you started at.

Er, I suppose so, but even then you'd be going to "somewhere really cool" first - this is a one-way ticket out. :) I'm even crossing the border. Heh.

Okay, wow. That didn't even cross my mind!

Maybe it's a roundabout subtextual way of saying "don't get on the plane unless you want to travel". Probably not, though, since you need a ticket to get on a plane. When I went to visit Rob in Durham, Mum and Dad came on the train to help with my luggage, the doors shut and they had to come to Peterborough. They laughed about it eventually.
