New York Supreme Court declares ban on same sex marriages unconstitutional. Yay. So much yay. Heh, knew you'd appreciate. $56 is about 30 quid. And yeah, limited sucks - though she makes them all by hand herself, which kind of explains why. :)

Speaking of queer yayness, there was a pair of mutually adoring young lovers sitting across the aisle from me on the train yesterday. I was loving their general intelligent-puppy squeefulness and getting-to-know-you romanticness (actually, we ended up chatting a little about the nest angle for taking mobile phone pictures), and it took me a couple of minutes to register the fact that I hadn't particularly registered that they were both female. Yes, I know I'm from another planet (Gallifrey) and all that and only about 31 per cent gay (that's based on your 43 per cent, hee), but what really struck me was that everyone else on the carriage, including conservative-looking middle-aged housewive and office types and a group of wannabe-tough teenaged males, seemed not in the least put out/embarrassed/angry/whatever about a couple of young women snogging in front of them. Yay for social evolution :-)
