... in which you can go to hell - I'm going to Brazil!

Today was my last day at my Saturday job. I no longer have to go ever again. Hooray! It was weird, though - we were rushed off our feet the whole time so it's not like we had a big deal made of it, but it's like... me and Anna worked there for nearly four years. That's a long time. And now it's just over, like that.

Hmm.

Talked to Liz last night ( Read more... )

She also does random humming and uses the word "Eeeeee!", just so you know.

*sigh* Oh, fine, tell everyone. :-P Moa found it amusing that you said "random humming". Hehe.

Actually, you can all see for yourselves roughly how I talk anyway, because I've written fic!

And it was lovely!!! (The dedication - *sniffs* Wooooow...) And awww, Vince!.. (Stuart's such a prick, man *shakes head*) And oh, Remus!.. Remus!.. *huggles her puppy* You can do it, Remus, you will get to go! Waaaah! *sigh* This is why I love Dumbledore, dammit.

And I love you - so, so much!

*randomly hums* Hee hee.

And I'm glad you liked the fic. :) Stuart really is a dick, and the dedication is entirely true.

Just got home. Catching up. Have yet to read your QAF vignette, but that's next. Thanks for the pointer! What the heck is fametracker, anyway?

I found this part kind of ironic, though: To those of you who have been asking how to find good fic, it's not by slogging through ff.net. Find an author you like in your fandom, and haunt them. Read through their recs/links pages. Lurk on their livejournals and read their friends' pages. Find out what lists they're on; join and read through the archives. Most fandoms are pretty tight in that the really good authors all know each other and interact on a regular basis. You can follow the trail and 99% percent of it will be worth reading. It may eat your life, but it can be a lot of fun.

... because I've never heard of this person before in my life. :-) It made me want to respond and say: "Hey! Why lurk? Come talk to us! It's a lot more fun." *grinning*

You're back! Hooray! *bounces* Don't worry about reading the QAF piece - get yourself back and rested first, and then you can write an in-depth treatise on my use of commas. :D

Fametracker is basically devoted to snarking about celebrities. It's good fun - as a general rule, the writers and posters there have taste.

It made me want to respond and say: "Hey! Why lurk? Come talk to us! It's a lot more fun."

LOL, and then I can jump in and go "Yeah! I tried it, and it's true!" :)
