I don’t think I could handle it if they made it into a movie. The book series is the best one out there. I cried when I finished the last book. Please, Disney, don’t ruin perfection.

As much as I love seeing my faves optioned/adapted, I rarely watch them. The more something takes up space in my brain for how deeply its embedded itself, the less likely I am to want to watch an adaptation. Again, I love that they are out there as it's great to get the best stories to as many people as possible but I just feel so attached to what's in my head that I am rarely brave enough to try someone else's imagination.
