Back with thoughts!

Emily is just lovely. And is that Hamiathes's Gift she's wearing? Did she go in search of hidden sacred artifacts during her time as a ranger? And how cool is it that her mom gave her The Thief when it was new?

Megan's comment about her audience growing up but not wandering off made me chuckle. Yep. We're about as difficult to get rid of as the Medes, but hopefully better company.

Also MWT: "Every time she starts to talk I'm going to interrupt... 'cause I'm not really corrigible at all." Hard to believe this is the author who wrote Gen into existence, ay? xD

The interviewer, about MWT: "Wow, she is really talkative for someone whose official policy is Not Telling."

I'm laughing out loud.

My husband has a tshirt that says, "Incorrigible: please do not incorrige". I'm almost tempted to try to find one for Megan. But I've never seen a picture of her in a tshirt.

I finally sat down and watched it all--marvelous interview, and thanks for sharing it with us. As I listened I went and put Emily's book on hold at the library and made a note to read all of the Dalemark quartet. That's neat that Megan hasn't ruled out other stories from the QT universe and I for one would love to hear more about Sophos's sisters.

Thanks! It was my very first author event and there are things I'd try to do better next time, but overall I think it went really well. Of course, Megan and Emily were absolutely gracious and delightful to work with, so that helped, too!

I literally promised the authors that my goal was to be mostly professional, but with enthusiasm, so it's funny that you said that. Guess I managed all right!
