Galen!!! Yes, he saved my life, on my Classical Studies final one of the questions was "Who was the doctor from Pergamum who worked with the 4 humors, etc etc." I was like Galen!!!!!! (I had to resist the urge to add exclamation points and smiley faces, lol).

And every time I read the word "cauterize," I think of ... you know. Maybe if Galen had been in Attolia to help (totally unrealistic "what if") he would have done his little ligation thingy.
