i hate/can't get into/haven't been fucked to hear most of the indie rock you listed, but most of the non-indie rock stuff is shit i can dig. i feel a little offended you list patti smith in the same list as calexico, sufjan stevens, and the arcade fire, too. most of these bands are just rehashing something any number of great artists have done a thousand times (this is always true, of course), just watering it down, adding in elements that don't work, or are just repackaging it for a new generation

I joined to see if there was anything going on in the members posts, and perhaps I should have just slipped out the backdoor after spying, but anyway.
I'm just gonna fold my hand, as the only micro-house I can even think of is Matthew Dear, and the idea of posting pictures of small houses is a lot less funny than it was at 2 this morning, now that I've had some sleep. (It was never really funny.)
I like that video and the musical it comes from, if only because I wish real life were like that sometimes. (Though, then again, think of the highway accidents...)
A college friend of mine sent me a bunch of CDs and I liked the idea that Hella was two dumb kids from California. I don't know about their other albums, but I like the second song ("Biblical Violence") in the background when I'm studying.
As for xbxrx, damn Carlos Moore, I don't even know, it makes me smile.
