I've finally acquired a couple few turntables, mixer, sampler, midi-controller and other weirdnesses and I'm looking at my record collection quite differently.

I get nothing done at home. I don't seem to have many friends and work 50-65 hours every week now. That means I'm piling up cash and I'm piling up records. Here's a few favorite songs from ( Read more... )

I know it's pretty vanilla but buying from local retailers doesn't really make it easy to accrue fun international stuff and contemporary music is pretty costly. My recent ebay account should help tip the scales.

James Brown has been cost prohibitive for the most part. That has changed for me recently.

I'll definitely be scooping up some lots of hip hop 12" soon.

Neon Blud's 7" is stellar as is the record by The Men called Immaculada

I've been buying lots of CDs. Picked up Ernest Tubb and Hank Snow box sets on Bear Family for $30 each!
